If you order these and you normally wear a medium, I would get a large. I wish I had sent them back for a larger size, but I didn't. Also, the skirt is a bit longer than in the picture. They are well made and feel nice. I will buy them again.

The drawstring helps
I was unsure about sizing, ultimately deciding to go with the larger size to be safe. It fit fine out of the water, but it was too loose in the water. Upon discovering a drawstring inside the waist, that problem was fixed. The bottoms worked great for a week-long beach trip. It prevented a sunburn and thigh chafing when walking around the beach. The only concern I had was how long it took to air dry. Nothing to prevent that due to the skirt layer, but that’s easily forgiven as the skirt prevents camel toe when the swim skirt/pants are dry. Finally a suit I don’t cringe in!
There are likely two types of people looking at these bottoms: #1: someone who is cute in everything and is looking for something fun or #2: someone who is self conscious in a swim suit. - This review is for my #2 peeps! I am on my 60s and no matter my size, my hips and legs are “less than attractive”.
